Happy New Year - 2025 is upon us! 

We were really busy over the Festive fortnight and were delighted to crank up the heating and open our doors from Christmas Eve, all the way through the New Years Day. We welcomed loads of swimmers and it was wonderful to celebrate Christmas and New Year with everyone! A huge thanks to everyone who came along and a massive thanks to all our Festive sponsors. 

2025 is looking busier than ever. We kick-started the year with cold swims which will run until March. Then we'll be getting the site ready for our 21st heated Summer season, which will start on Saturday 5th April and run all the way through to end of September.

Cold Water Swims 

Cold water sessions have resumed. The water is a little warmer after the heated Festive swims but will drop over the coming weeks. 

Sessions will take place on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays: 07:00-13:00 and Saturdays 08:00-13:00 

Ticket options: 

• Pay as you go: £8 (including a free hot drink) 
• Monthly membership: £70 
• 10 swims and get one free for only £72 

Saunatopia at The Lido 

Saunatopia is back at The Lido throughout the Cold Swim sessions. Times and a special cold swim and sauna deal can be found above.

Summer Season 2025

Anyone else longing for the warmer days of the summer? 

We will be opening our doors for the 2025 summer season on Saturday 5th April and we will remain open right the way through until Sunday 28th September. 

Remember: the pools are heated to around 28 degs during our Summer season.

We are kick-starting our 21st summer season with a FREE open day for everyone! We want to celebrate all the wonderful things about our truly unique Lido. So come and join us for the first warm swim - if the weather is promising, we might even light the BBQ! 

** NEW FOR 2025 ** 

Full day tickets

Due to lots of interest, we are launching a full day ticket for summer 2025. This will allow access for both open sessions during weekends and school holidays, and you will not have to leave the site between the sessions. 

Open sessions run at weekends and during all school holidays everyday from10:00-13:00 and then 13:30-16:30. 

Full day ticket prices: 

• Adult: £15 (saving £2.50 when buying 2 individual sessions) 
• Kids: £10  (saving £1 when buying 2 individual sessions)
• Family (2+2): £40 (saving £6 when buying 2 individual sessions)

FINAL CALL: Help us replace Sid the Sub

Sid is our giant inflatable submarine and kids love him! Suitable for those confident in the water, Sid is perfect for those with loads of energy. Rain or shine he is in the water, so come and join us for some fun! 

Since Sid joined the team five years ago, he has enhanced school swimming fun sessions, birthday parties and private bookings - not to mention his weekly appearance at our Sunday morning open swims. 

Sid is tired now, and (like many of us) not able to keep up with the demand.

Please help us to raise funds to purchase the next inflatable to take his place by donating here.

In the next couple of months we will share some pictures of the new inflatable and we will then be asking you to submit your name suggestions for the new addition to the Lido family!

** NEW ** Youth Gym 

Wednesdays 5pm - 6:30pm 
FREE 

Starting on 12th February, we are delighted to be hosting a FREE weekly youth gym session aimed at 14-17 year olds. 

No need to book, just turn up. 

Sessions will take place at the Lido and include a free soft drink.

Elveneses has moved to its winter home of The Swan for all of January and February. We look forward to welcoming the group back to the Lido as the weather warms in the Spring.
